I don't usually pre-order from authors I don't know, but I was really intrigued by the blurb and decided to go for it and hit one-click. I'm so freaking glad I did, this book is fantastic!! Luna is one of funniest and most likeable female MCs I've read I awhile. She's the perfect mix of sassy and sweet/badass and vulnerable, and her guys are sexy and fun in their own ways (esp Asher, yummm). I love the idea of the different gifts each of them have and hope to see more of what they all can do. I think Luna and her men are going to be a force to reckon with in the next book and can't wait to find out what happens next!

Something that kept bothering me was how poorly edited this book was. Yes, mistakes happen, but this book has too many. Some parts are fine and others suffer a lot; things like Lunas instead of Luna’s (which happened several times in several places) or how a lot of words get swapped and ignored (ie “find” instead of “fine” or “an” instead of “and” for mild examples).This writing also feels like an awkward, very beginner-type of writing that could have been at least looked over somewhat. Everyone is at a different point in writing but this felt completely unedited.I will say that the story idea was interesting and although the characters didn’t act consistently in-line with how they were set up, it was still an okay read. Not horrible but not good either. Hopefully this author will grow and improve.

Honestly I wasn’t one for paranormal books, I’ve read a few but personally I’m picky. This book was captivating. There’s something about the way JJ wrote this book that had me reading non-stop. I couldn’t put it down. Angels are fascinating and she wrote this book in a way that doesn’t put them as perfect. I FLoved this book so hard. For her debut novel I give her 5 stars. I hope everyone enjoys it as I did.

This book was such a great surprise! I fell in love with the story, characters and couldn't put it down. It has such a great new take on Angels, Demons and the man upstairs. Luna is crazy funny, sarcastic and her inner monologue will crack you up! Add in hot badass guys, you really can't go wrong reading it.

I really enjoy the premise of this book. It's original and fun. I'd have given the book a solid four, but the editing is atrocious. Seriously shoddy. Please get a good editor and you'll find that your ratings increase substantially. I will read the next book.

I loved all the characters. It takes a very special writer to bring you into a world that is not your own. I loves start to finish and can not wait for the 2nd in the series.

This was an awesome debut novel and honestly it’s hard to believe this was her first book. The FMC was quirky and hilarious. I read the whole thing in one go because I couldn’t put it down.

It just didn't pull me in at all.The tone of the blurb didn't match with the tone of the book, and I preferred the blurb (except for the "So, yeah, I fell hard. But I fell for the flaws of being human even harder" line because that just made me cringe.)I would strongly recommend reading the sneak peak on Amazon before buying. I had read the prologue in the sneak peak and thought it sounded neat, so I ordered through KU. Then the first chapter started and it just didn't hook me in. Very different vibe from the prologue. I skimmed for a little, but the dialogue was lacking and the MC wasn't clicking.I saw a ton of positive reviews for this one before I read it - so it's probably just be me that this book didn't rub well with. I just wanted to caution others that the dialogue and MC is meh in the start of the book in case you don't have Kindle Unlimited. I DNFed, so I can't say what happened in the rest of it.I loved the idea of the storyline, though! I think that's why I had high expectations for it. It would've brought a fun edge to RH.
